These two leaders are examined within the context of their African-American culture and religion, as well as within the broader cultural diversity of the United States and the rest of the world. Not open to students who have taken GES203L Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Prerequisites: GES130 (may be taken concurrently) or GES244 (may be taken concurrently).
