This course is designed to give students a working knowledge of the instrumentation used in the modern chemical and biochemical laboratory. Emphasis will be placed on the study of techniques that have the broadest range of applications. Topics studied will include enzyme purification, DNA sequencing, spectroscopic techniques, chromatography and computer interfacing of laboratory instruments. Laboratory [8.00].
