This course is designed to familiarize students with the instrumentation and methods commonly used to insure Quality Control in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, Food and related industries. Students will become familiar with the safety standards, documentation methods, instrumentation and regulatory agencies that set the standards. Students will learn to evaluate processes for adherence to industry safety and quality standards and to maintain a laboratory notebook that meets FDA standards. Lecture [2.00], Laboratory [3.00].
