This course is a further study of recording technology as applied to music production. Topics covered include techniques of live multi-track recording and overdubbing, including microphone selection and setup, mixing techniques such as creating automated mixes using software- and hardware-based signal processors, as well as basic mastering techniques for CD, DVD and other consumer formats such as web-based audio and video.
