This course combines classroom and hands-on field work to teach the student how to operate safely and within the OSHA 1910.120 [HAZWOPER] regulations. The course examines occupational health and safety issues, medical surveillance programs, site health and safety plans, emergency response plans, adequate illumination and sanitation, hazard communication, and rights and responsibilities of employers and employees under OSHA and EPA laws.
