This course is a study of the way people communicate in the process of developing and maintaining relationships. Class activities include the analysis of communication in dyadic and small group situations. The following topics are examined with respect to their effects on interpersonal communication: self-awareness, shyness and assertiveness, listening, attraction, conflict, loneliness, and love.
