This course explores and systematically studies the different color systems, including Munsell, Ostwall, DIN Kuppers, and Gerritsen. Students will learn the science of color development and how color is viewed, reflection and absorption, and the psychological impact of color in the living-working environment. In addition students will learn how color is used to communicate in interior spaces. Practical application activities will develop studentsā€˜ skills in putting color systems and guidelines into practice in given applications.
