An astronomy survey course for non-science majors which introduces the fascinating world of astronomy. Students encounter early astronomy and astronomers, become familiar with the nighttime sky, develop the tools of astronomy; and study the solar system, stars, and their evolution, galaxies, cosmology, and the big Bang.
