An introduction to Voice over IP (VoIP).Topics include VoIP architecture, components and functionality. Additional focus will be given to VoIP signaling, call control, voice dial plans, configuring voice interfaces and dial-peers, and implementing quality of service technologies in a VoIP environment. This course may also be offered online. May be taken for grades or on a pass-no pass basis. PREREQUISITE: Computer Information Systems A260. Transfer Credit: CSU.
