Examines recent trends in testing of work recognition and comprehension techniques. Students learn the appropriate use of methods and materials to improve reading performance. Students will consider ESOL influence when administering assessments and interpreting data. The rationale for each assessment technique is discussed and practical application with an elementary school student is required. In addition to class meetings, at least 10 hours of clinical experience are required. Prerequisites: All Block I, Block II, and Block III courses.
