Corequisite: EDUC 200, EDUC 201, EDUC 309 Following the recommendations of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, this initial methods course emphasizes the math strands of algebra and number and operation, instructional strategies appropriate for teaching math, assessment, problem solving, and the incorporation of technology. Designed for elementary and middle school education majors, initial instruction in lesson planning, differentiation, classroom management, and portfolio work will be included.
