This course is an introduction to computer hardware and software. Students will learn how to build a simple computer from scratch. It includes step-by-step hands-on learning of system components, organization, configuration and troubleshooting. Topics also include building computer networks, land-line and wireless, installing system software, such as WINDOWS XP and LINUX, and configuring and testing various application software. Note: No previous computer experience is required.
