Prerequisite: EDL 760 This course will examine strategies to acquire and retain the highest quality personnel with a focus on the development of staff, both from individual and organizational perspective. Issues and policy development will be examined related to evaluation, including termination policies and procedures. Topics include legal and ethical issues, collective discussions, dealing with difficult people and situations, compensation and benefits, and the organization of a human resources department.
