Prerequisite: ACCT 211 This course provides the skills necessary to interpret financial statement information by focusing on the statement of cash flows and the notes that accompany the required financial statements. Additional topics include accounting alternatives available for inventory, long-lived assets and stock options, adjusting financial statements for comparability, and an overview of disclosures required for leases, pension plans, income taxes, debt and operating segments.
