Also examines more recent texts that stand as efforts to shift those cultural values. Texts studied may include such Greek, Hebrew, Western African, Japanesse, Mayan, and Islamic texts such as The Odyssey, The Bible, The Epic of Son Jara, The Tale of Genji, Popul Vuh, and The Koran.
