Description:

This course provides firefighters with the knowledge and skills to extinguish specialized aircraft fires, including fires in the cockpit, cabin, lavatory, engine, and brakes. This course utilizes both classroom and live-fire extinguishment simulation. This course exceeds FAR 139 annual requirements for live fire training. Must have firefighter certification. Eight class hours. .5 Credits.
