Acquire knowledge and expertise for teaching English language learners' in bilingual or multilingual classrooms from primary grades to adult learners. Based on current theories and practices, this course familiarizes participants with methods for supporting English language learners' literacy development in English -- listening, speaking, reading and writing for social and academic purposes -- as well as supporting their achievement in content areas.
