ED 529 Educational and Documentary Video Production (3 credits) Students will review traditional documentary works: ethnographic, cinema veri-te, autobiographical, activist videos, etc. and create a documentary for teaching purposes. Audience and topic will be determined by small groups who will storyboard, shoot, edit and document the media production. Students will hone their listening, writing and research skills and will better understand the implicit and explicit choices, ethical and social, in creating documentaries. All assignments will be stored online in the Central EdMedia Reference Library and attached to Student Portfolio.
