Human body structure and the basic mechanisms underlying the regulation of the healthy human body. Focus on the structure and function of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, with discussions of cells and tissues. Laboratory experiences use models, prepared slides, and selected vertebrates to illustrate the basic concepts studied during lecture. (Three-hour lecture, two-hour lab.)
