Description:

Examination of models of human service helping, survey of major community resources, and study of the referral process. Exploration of career and transfer opportunities, with preparation of resume and cover letter. Advanced group process, and discussion and analysis of field work experience. Students must be qualified ( based on Accuplacer) to take ENG 101 in order to register for this course. Four class hours. In conjunction with this course, the student must take and pass HUM 211 Field Work in Human Services III. Prerequisite: HUM 102 with a grade of C- or better. 4 Credits.
