The focus of this pre-practicum is to identify best practices in the school reform movement and should be taken concurrently with SPED 820. The student will spend at least 25 hours investigating and completing duties of the Special Education leader that are related to site based management, outcome based curriculum, staff development, interagency cooperation, and program monitoring and evluation.
