This course focuses on the proficiencies and procedures applied through critical thinking techniques and hands-on development. Analytical, investigative and physical skills are developed. Application of the scientific method to criminal and traffic investigation is developed. Application of the use of force continuum will be explained, demonstrated, practiced, and assessed. Must be sworn police officer or sheriff's deputy employed or sponsored by a law enforcement agency. Twenty-three class hours. 17.5 Credits.
