As an introduction to the technical and aesthetic fundamentals of digital photographic imaging, this course introduces students to non-destructive editing techniques to modify, manipulate, and enhance photographic images for use in various visual communication fields. A balanced approach is emphasized with equal consideration given to professional image enhancement procedures and the technical considerations required for successfully capturing, manipulating, exporting, and utilizing images. Two class hours, two laboratory hours. 3 Credits.
