This course focuses on the technical aspects of building a data warehouse. The topics covered will include the DSS life cycle, data warehouse architectures, system planning, warehouse requirements gathering, schema development, warehouse design, and user data access. Two class hours, two laboratory hours. Offered Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. Prerequisite: CIS 211, or equivalent experience with modern database management programs. 3 Credits.
