This course builds on skills and knowledge acquired in ASL I and II and focuses on building narrative skills. Students move from an informal to more formal style of signing. Interacting with the deaf community is a required activity. Students should be able to demonstrate intermediate to intermediate plus level conversational skills. Prerequisite: ASL 1142 or Intermediate on the SCP or permission of instructor.
