This is a capstone course for legal studies majors. Students integrateknowledge of theoretical concepts and practical application ofresearch methods, writing for the legal professionals, and selectedspecialty areas in the law through assigned readings, seminardiscussion, and the completion of assigned projects. Special emphasiswill be placed on ethics and the rules of professional responsibilityfor legal professionals. As an outcome of the course students willcomplete a senior thesis on a topic demonstrating the interactionbetween the law and the student's other major or area of study in theliberal arts.
