This course serves as an introduction to the Sports Journalism industry by discussing the reporting, producing and planning that goes into journalism and broadcasting. Various media will be discussed, and students will produce projects related to them. In addition to the how and why of reporting, ethics of sports journalism and the role sports media play in society will also be examined.
