A study of American theatre and drama, with particular emphasis given to the development of musical theatre and to the drama of the modern period, including the work of playwrights such as O'Neill, Miller, Williams, Wilson, Baraka, Norman, Albee, and Kushner. May be used to fulfill the Humanities: Fine and Performing Arts component of the General Education Requirements. Prerequisite: junior standing or consent of the Chair of the Department.
