A study that covers a particular, large subject in history (e.g., a period or a field), selected according to student interest and instructor choice. This course may be repeated for credit if the selected subjects are different. Although history majors may take any number of these courses, they may include no more than two in a thirty-hour major. Appropriate topics may be designated to fulfill the requirement in European history, history of the Americas, or non- Western history.
