GER 105 - Directed Studies in German

Institution:
Cleveland State University
Subject:
Description:
Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. These are Teacher-Assisted Directed Studies (TADS) courses for those special needs of individual students not met by the regular course offerings in the areas of reading, vocabulary building, and phonetics. These TADS courses allow such students to begin or continue their study of the German language or of special aspects of it by working on their own with a detailed study guide. Specific topics, level, and number of credits vary according to student's needs and are decided in consultation with course instructor. Students completing one of these TADS courses in German as their first German course at Cleveland State are not eligible for retroactive credit. GER 105 does not normally fulfill the language deficiency. GER 205 and 305 do not normally count toward a German major or minor. (Petitions will be decided by the department chair and the faculty of German.)
