Prerequisites: Prior application and approval of the Office of Field Services plus successful completion of all courses in the specialization sequence for bilingual education. This is a university-supervised field experience designed to provide guided practice in the application of current theory and research in both ESL and bilingual education, It involves 80-120 hours over a prescribed number of weeks, observing and teaching bilingual students under the direction of a cooperating teacher and a supervisor from CSU. It is required for bilingual education endorsement.
