Prerequisite: OSM 311. This course covers the core principles of the management of quality in the production of goods and services. Statistical quality control techniques are used in the implementation of these principles. Topics include TQM, continuous improvement, control charts, sampling plans, process capability, and ISO 9000. Applicable computer software is used to implement the techniques.
