Prerequisite: OSM 311 or permission of the instructor. Planning, scheduling, and controlling of activities related to the production of goods are examined. Topics include manufacturing planning and control, short-term forecasting systems, demand management and order servicing, sales and operations planning (SOP), master production scheduling (MPS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM) inventory, material requirements planning (MRP), bills of material (BOM), capacity requirements planning (CRP), distribution requirements planning (DRP), advanced concepts in material requirements planning.
