This course is designed to introduce students to software, design elements and practices related to creating and maintaining web sites on the Worldwide Web. Students will work with software to build web pages as well as to create and edit graphics and photos. Equally important is a focus on professional, legal and ethical issues that accompany publishing on the Web, and on the role of the web as a part of the mass media.
