Prerequisites: BUS 0354, 355, 454, 455. This course examines the role of human resource management practitioners and leaders as a strategic partner to business unit leaders.. Students will be able to demonstrate how strategic human resource management influences, contributes to and supports the organization¿s mission, values, and strategic objectives. Further, students will apply tools, such as a human resource management scorecard, and processes to formulate policies, conduct cost/benefit analysis for human resource management interventions, and measure human resource management¿s contributions to organizational effectiveness.
