This course builds upon concepts mastered in baccalaureate pathophysiology and focuses on the alteration in normal physiology and the associated pathophysiological processes of common disorders to provide an understanding of human illness in adults. This course will build on cellular physiology of desease, signs, symptoms and current evidence based treatment recommendations. Case scenarios will be utilized to illustrate illness prevention, pathophysiological processes and disease management.
