In this course we will explore the roles of virtue and happiness in Aristotelian and Kantian Moral Theory, as well as, perhaps, in other select views in historical and contemporary ethics (Stoicism and contemporary virtue ethics are candidates). Undergraduate majors and minors only, but no prior background in ethics or the history of philosophy is required.
