The purpose of this course is to introduce you to traits and competencies that are central to being an effective leader. These few lessons establish a framework for understanding leadership; including a framework for understanding the values, attributes, skills and actions required for successful leadership in any organization. The course objectives are simple enough: Develop in students an appreciation for the complexities of leadership and motivation; and prepare future leaders for their unique roles as mentors, trainers and motivators.
