Prerequisites 210.311 or appropriate WEB-CAPE score. This course is designed for students who have attained an advanced level of proficiency in Spanish 210.311 and wish to improve their oral skills by focusing on the use of standard, spoken Spanish with an emphasis on colloquial and idiomatic expressions. Students are exposed to a deeper understanding of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world through movies and other listening comprehension exercises. The course will mainly focus on conversation and vocabulary acquisition. This course is highly recommended for students participating in JHU study abroad programs. It cannot be graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory. It is not open to native speakers. No new enrollments for this course permitted after Friday, February 4th
