Basic language class offered for 3 credits and letter grade only (S/U is NOT available for first-year language courses.) This intensive, three-week course will allow students to review the material of the first semester of French Elements at a fast pace. Suited for students with some French background who qualify to join the regular French Elements II course in the spring AND for true beginners who are self-motivated and work well independently. Major online component supplements in-class instruction. Must complete the year by taking French Elements II in the spring in order to receive credit.
