This course focuses on a search for pattern in the structure, composition and dynamics of ecological communities. We will examine similarities and differences in composition or structure of ecological communities to try to establish what factors may determine or constrain their organization in time and space. This course complements material presented in 577. Prerequisite: Biology 307 or equivalent.
