Studies types of literature; analysis of literary qualities; selection and presentation of books and other media for children and early adolescents; and integration of literature in preschool, elementary and middle school and library settings. Prerequisite: admission to the Teacher Education Program, C or better in English 101 and 102, and overall GPA of 2.75; or consent of instructor. Lab fee: $10.
