(Same as Plant Biology 523) This course is part of the SIU IGERT program and will focus on ecological, geomorphic, and hydrological concepts related to watersheds, including hydrograph generation, frequency analysis, erosional and depositional processes, channel geomorphology, water quality and biotic integrity, and structure and function of stream ecosystems. This course will include readings and discussions and will feature guest lectures on specific topics. Restricted to graduate students (masters and doctoral).
