Description:
Students will have a knowledge of the physical laws and design characteristics governing propeller operation. They will be able to identify components, troubleshoot, and adjust fixed and variable pitch propellers. They will maintain fixed pitch propellers, and governor systems for variable pitch propellers in accordance with FAA and manufacturers' standards. Prerequisite: AVT 101, 111, 203. Course fee: $35.
