Description:

Comprehensive study of sequencing techniques, editing, sampling and hardware and software based instruments will be applied with hands-on exercises and projects. Skills developed in this course will enable students to creatively utilize the most current MIDI technology for use in writing, arranging, recording and manipulating music and audio for albums, jingles and film/television. Prerequisite: RT 375 or consent of instructor. Lab fee: $55.
