Topics include: Enlightenment social theory, social evolutionism, racial formalism and the Boasian critique, relativism and functionalism; cultural materialism, cultural ecology, neo-evolutionism, ecological anthropology, structuralism, ethnoscience, interpretive anthropology, practice theory, post-modernism, and gender theory.
