The student is introduced to small unit tactical operations at the platoon and company level. Offensive, defensive, and retrograde operations are covered in detail. Unit organization and patrolling are also stressed. Practical exercises are conducted in the classroom and in field environments. Physical training is also conducted. Includes a leadership laboratory. Special approval needed from the director of Army Military Science.
