A study of advanced turbine powerplants and their control systems. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the operation and construction of integrated composite engines and analyze digital control systems. Topics include the interfacing of powerplant controls and moni- toring systems, aircraft electronic data bussing and indicating displays. Not for graduate credit. Prerequisite: AVT 316, 317, 318. Course fee: $25.
