This course is an introduction to forensic anthropology as a scientific discipline within the field of anthropology, examining what happens to a body immediately after death, the process of decomposition, and taphonomic changes. The course also examines what is required of a forensic investigation of such a body from search to documentation, collection, processing, and lab analysis.
