This course focuses on the nursing management of adults and their families in acute care and appropriate community care settings. Critical reasoning and problem solving skills are used to address safe intervention and evaluation outcomes appropriate to the health care needs of adults and families experiencing complex health disorders. The course includes content on the triage of care of patients during events that result in widespread illness or mass casualties.
